Brilliance Pro is designed for versatility of use. Brilliance can be integrated with other critical medical equipment such as infant warmers, incubators, and nearly any variety of bassinet. Brilliance LEDs last 60x longer than compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) commonly used in phototherapy devices. With Brilliance, hospitals can save over 12,000, per year on costly bulb replacements. Also, Brilliance can withstand a wide range of power fluctuations without changes in device performance.
"Brilliance DSPT" LED Phototherapy Unit
Effective: Brilliance is an affordable world-class phototherapy treatment device to treat newborns with severe jaundice. Our key technical innovation is utilizing strategically-located, high-intensity blue LEDs to enable effective treatment with minimal power consumption. Brilliance outperforms state-of-the-art LED devices and was designed through a partnership between Design Revolution (California, USA) and Phoenix Medical Systems (Chennai, India).
LED Phototherapy Unit
The LED PT delivers blue light with the peak intensity at 455 nm. The light is free of unwanted UV and IR radiation and is produced by LEDs that maintain the intensity level for 20,000 hours.
CFL Phototherapy Unit
The CFL 101 delivers intensive blue light from CFLs for effective treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia. There is no undesirable UV radiation. CFLs are smaller, concentrated sources of light compared with traditional tubelights.
Double Surface Phototherapy Unit
The CFL 101 and PB 101 provide blue light for treatment of hyperbilirubinaemia in neonates. They may be used individually as stand-alone phototherapy units. They may be used together in double side phototherapy. Together, they provide radiation from both above and below the bassinet so that the infant’s skin is used effectively and the treatment time is reduced.
